Party Packages

Party packages require a minimum of 5 guests.

Hip Party – $35 per person

  • Use of rocket room for 2 hour party
  • Knit or crochet instructor(s)
  • One set of bamboo knitting needles per guest
  • Selection of colors of basic wool for each guest for beginner project

Glam Party – $45 per person

  • Use of rocket room for 2 hour party
  • Knit or crochet instructor(s)
  • One set of bamboo knitting needles per guest
  • Choice of merino, cashmere blend or hand dye yarn per guest for beginner project

Your own universe – starting at $20 per person per 2 hour session

  • Private use of rocket room
  • Custom designed party for whatever project or skill you desire!
  • Knit or crochet instructor(s)
  • Supplies appropriate for the project (cost determined by project selected)

Rent the Rocket – $10 per person

  • 2 hours private use of the entire shop after hours
  • 10% discount on all merchandise
  • Champagne and appetizers
  • Great for book clubs, craft clubs or knit and crochet groups

Party Inspirations

Knitted Bridal or Baby Shower

At a knitted shower, each guest learns the basics of knitting, while creating an organic wash cloth or part of a blanket that will be seamed together to form a unique gift for the guest of honor.

Children’s Birthday Party

Host a unique party for your child and friends! Each child receives starter needles and yarn and will learn all of the basics for creating a scarf. Yarn and needles can be package up as the party favor! (Children 8 and older)

Charity inspired knits

Get together and give back with a charity inspired project. Create a prayer shawl or hats to keep a patient warm during treatment.

Private Lessons

We are happy to offer you a private or semi-private lesson. We can help you seam up a sweater, polish up your cabling skills or even learn a new skill. If you prefer one on one attention, we’ve got it! The cost is $40 for a one hour lesson (max 2 students) or $20 for a half hour session. Private lessons are prepaid and can not be rescheduled within 72 hours of the class. Give us a call to schedule! 703-664-0344
