Danielle Romanetti, Owner
Danielle is the owner, chief operating officer, chief executive officer, marketing director, public relations director, and accountant for Knit-a-Gogo. She has over five years of experience teaching knitters of all levels in the Washington, DC metro area. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her "boyfriend of ten years" Phillip and her two Italian greyhounds, Kirby and Heinz.
Holly
Holly is the retail manager of Knit Happens and has been teaching for 4.5 years. She loves to teach beginners to knit and her most popular class is "Socks on Two Circulars." Holly's favorite past time, other than knitting, is knitting and drinking wine.
Karida
Karida is a recovering academic with a serious fiber addiction. Her best friend taught her to knit five years ago, and she hasn't put down the sticks since. Karida lives at Neighborhood Fiber Co. headquarters with her partner, Erika, a dog and two destructive cats.
Kathleen
Kathleen lives in Alexandria, Va., with a husband and cat who don't
quite understand her fiber obsession. She's been knitting 20 years and
still gets excited about learning new techniques. A writer and web
editor by day, in the evenings she knits, reads P.G. Wodehouse, and
plots knitters' world domination.
Kel
Kel works in IT during the week, but on the weekends you can find her working, teaching, and creating the window displays at Knit Happens. Some of her favorite things are teaching new knitters and talking people's ears off about color theory and fiber properties, when she's not designing costumes for horror films or planning to be a rock star.
Michelle
Michelle is a graduate student and works at Knit Happens. She loves knitting so much that she has taken it to most of the cities and countries that she has traveled to. Despite being new to teaching knitting, Michelle sees it as an opportunity to show how wonderful it is to give hand knitted gifts to friends and family. In her free time, Michelle enjoys finding new ways to combine her favorite activities -- spending time with her dog Lola, knitting, drinking wine, and traveling.
Olga
Olga has been knitting since the age of 4, designing her own garments and teaching for the past year. She enjoys the challenge that each technique can bring and acquires her inspiration from the mesmerizing world of fashion blended with classics. Her designs have appeared in Knitty as well Sensual Knits, Pure knits books along with numerous designs for yarn companies and recent Interweave Crochet, find more of her self-published designs on her site. When not knitting or teaching she enjoys traveling, reading and happy life of domesticity with her husband and a cat.
